Plug Top Repair

Plug top repair is the process of removing either the plug or socket (both in some situations) and replacing it with a new compliant plug/ socket.

How we carry out Plug Top Replacement

We follow the Australian and New Zealand Standard #3760:2022 specifically designed for electrical testing to create safe working environment.

1. Visual Inspection - We check your appliances to confirm that there is no discolou and no faulty plugs/ sockets on your cables.

2. Replacing the plug/ socket - If your plug/ socket is faulty and needs replacing. We will cut off said plug or socket and attach a new compliant plug/ socket. We will then carry out the main appliance test and then tag it.

3. Reporting - Once we have replaced the plug or socket and tested your appliance, we will place a tag on it stating whether it has passed or failed and enter it into our software system. You will receive a report on all of your appliances tested and repaired. Finally, you will receive an invoice for the completed work.
